Family Lifeline: Strong Families for a Strong Community
Family Lifeline has been helping families succeed since 1877. Based in Richmond, they assist Central Virginia’s most vulnerable children, parents and seniors by providing support, wellness and education. They have hands-on, personalized programs that create lasting change from the inside out, while bringing health and hope into the home.
CHIP, a program of Family Lifeline, enriches the lives of children and the community by providing comprehensive services, in partnership with parents, to improve the overall health, well-being and independence of families. For the most recent program year, the outcomes of Family Lifeline’s CHIP program included:
- 98% of children were connected to a medical home
- 95% of children received all doctor recommended immunizations
- 94% of children were connected to a pediatric dentist
- 90% of children were routinely screened for developmental delays
