Impact Makers Ranks No. 360 on the 2012 Inc. 500 with Three-Year Sales Growth of 1,030%
Inc. magazine ranked Impact Makers No. 360 on its 31st annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs.
Impact Makers’ rank is based on three-year sales growth of 1,030%. This growth is especially significant due to the company’s social entrepreneurship model: Impact Makers is a for profit company but has no shareholders and contributes profits to local, healthcare related charities.
“Our company delivers economic value and maximizes wealth creation for the community as opposed to private stakeholders,” says CEO and founder Michael Pirron. “As we grow, it directly increases contributions to our non-profit partners and the resulting community impact.”
Impact Makers’ community partners are Rx Partnership, which provides prescription medications to patients of Virginia’s free clinics, and CHIP of Greater Richmond, a program of Family Lifeline that supports children’s health and prevention. In 2011, Impact Makers contributed more than $100,000 in direct, unrestricted financial support to these organizations and provided more than 200 hours of pro bono management and technology consulting support to them.
